WHAT IS FFC

ABOUT?

Forging Fashion Connections is a platform developed to showcase collaborative fashion projects between QUT design students and industry and community partners. The platform specifically aims to forge creative dialogues with Indigenous communities across Australia, connecting students to practices in community engagement, and Indigenous cultural practices and knowledges. The annual FFC projects offer students the opportunity to experience the design and manufacturing practices of industry standard fashion collections at the same time as it helps to support, grow and promote the local fashion industry.

To learn more about the processes and what FFC does behind the scenes, take a look at our latest project with the artists of the Hopevale Arts & Cultural Centre, located in North Queensland.
